SCRATCH COOKING WITH LATIN FLAIR

Agave Tequila Bar brings scratch cooking with Latin flair to Ann Arbor. Our menu features dishes designed to perfectly pair with our wide array of tequilas and other creative cocktails.

Many of our items can be ordered “shareable” – perfect for a group of friends to split, either on their own or matched with a flight of our premium tequilas. Formerly Sabor Latino, our transformation into Agave Tequila Bar represents an upgrade in food, service, and atmosphere. Come and try us out today.

Meet the Manager     Mary Beth Accivatti

Mary Beth is our General Manager and the smiling face you can expect to see when you visit Agave Tequila Bar. With a lifetime of experience in the industry ranging from waiting tables to management, Mary Beth came to us from Blossom Heath Inn in St. Clair Shores.

“My goal is always to make guests feel at home, and to ensure they always get great service and great food,” she said. “We’re overhauling everything from the interior décor to the menu, and I’m sure our customers will notice the difference immediately.”

Meet the Chef   Albaro Revara

Originally from Zacatecas, Mexico, Chef Al developed his chops at fine Ann Arbor eateries like Cafe du Jour, Logan, and Cafe Zola. Now a culinary force of his own, he specializes in authentic Mexican and innovative Latin/Asian fusion dishes. He’s also a skilled horseman.

The architect of Agave’s new lunch and dinner menus, Chef Al’s goal was to present traditional Mexican fare such as egg dishes at lunchtime, in-husk tamales, and Nopalitos (also known as the prickly pear cactus), all while using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
